Magic that reacts
Water puts out fire. Cold turns the soaked to ice; fire melts it back. Wind fans a blaze downwind. Spells play off each other and off the world, so two mages working together do more than two alone.
The Game
Mages of Ruin is a wizard physics battle arena. Gather your party in a sprawling old city, take work from the notice board and stand against what marches on the town, or turn your spells on each other. Every spell strikes, burns, soaks, freezes or tears at a world where every wall, roof and tower can come down.

Every house is built piece by piece. A fireball punches through a wall, fire runs through the thatch, rot eats the timber, an earthquake cracks the stone and a tornado takes the roof with it.
Play online with friends. Take quests from the notice board: hold a building against the waves, put out a fire, mend what was broken, drive the foes from the streets. Or square off, mage against mage, in friendly duels.
Many schools of magic, dozens of spells and passives. Spend your points on any of them: nothing is locked, and every mage you make is your own build.

Every element leaves its mark on what it strikes. Strike something already marked, and the two react.
